Fall 2026 at Soft Corners
Hang out with us Fri, Nov 6th, and stay warm! Leave with a perfect weekend read, either from our curated selection of books-for-sale, or from our mini library compliments of The People's Library-ABQ.
Folks, we cannot thank you enough for making our inaugural Art after Dark transform into our first - it was such a smashing success, there will definitely be a second!
You all bought art, supported our vendors, enjoyed the libations and snacks, brought incredible energy into the space, and donated to the tune of $360! We can't thank you enough for your generosity. We'll be upgrading our toilet seat, and we're close to getting a new, larger fridge! Both items will make being in the Studio even more comfortable for all guests. (From our Founder: I haven't bought a fridge in over a decade, I didn't realize how much they've gone up in price! But we are close!)
You all also comfortably crowded in to hear our writers share their work! Truly, we were touched at how supportive the environment you all created was. We all shared in an ephemeral experience of erotic poetry and fiction, an ineffable memory each of us carries forward. Thank you.
Big thanks to our gallery assistant, Danica Favorito, who hung the show and in addition to listing her own art, worked the show and got to meet so many guests! Danica has made so much of the Studio sing with her breadth of talents. Many thanks, too, to our door person, Leila, who ensured we stayed safe and 18+!
We cannot thank the artists and writers who trusted us with their work enough! If you want to see the show again, or missed it, you still can. Show's up til Oct 30th, and we have a handful of open times for you:
If none of these work for you, please reach out to schedule a private viewing. This show is spectacular, and we want YOU to see it.
Folks, our only regret is we didn't take photos. If you took photos and are open to us having them, please send to info at softcornersabq dot com. Thank you in advance!
NEXT UP is our November Open House, and we're soooo excited to share that we'll have backgammon and chess sets available! Whether you're an expert or brand new to either game, we'll have a relaxed environment for playing.
Like usual, we'll be drawing on the walls, sipping tea and cocoa, eating snacks, and connecting as community.
Hang out with us that Friday night and stay warm. Leave with a perfect weekend read, either from our curated selection of books-for-sale, or from our mini library compliments of The People's Library-ABQ.
We're 3 weeks into year 3 of Soft Corners, and thanks to you, this is our most joyous season to date. We're so excited to make new memories with you. See you soon!
