Art after Dark Is around the Corner ...

at Soft Corners!
And this line-up promises a spectacular evening:
We cannot wait for you to see this show in its full splendor. Artists have brought us paintings, sketches, charcoal drawings, photography, multi-media work, collages ... Writers are sharing poetry, stories, and a novel excerpt. We're putting together a sensual, multi-genre music playlist. As always, we'll have delicious bites and sips to make your evening more comfortable and satisfying!
We don't want to let the proverbial pussy-cat out of the bag, but here's a tiny preview of art on tap:

Please bring ID (event is 18+), and we're asking for a $10 donation per person. Donations offset event costs, and help us make improvements to the space. (Current wish list includes a new fridge, toilet seat, and door repair.) That said, donations are just that—donations, not fees. If you can give more, or you can give a little less, please know we appreciate you! If you can't give right now, we get it—no judgment. Please do come!
We've receive a few questions regarding what to expect. Most importantly, as always, we promise you a pressure-free, comfortable, engaging environment. Attire-wise, please feel welcome to put on something soft and special, or come casual. We want you to be at ease, so you can wholly enjoy the evening!
The art for this show ranges from very lightly erotic to abstract to more intensely erotic. Topics range from furry expression to Cupid to humor to BDSM to cheeky and beyond.
Two of our artists are vending, which means great gift shopping awaits! We have new books in-house, including zines and fiction by m.e. gamlem!
Our Erotic Reading will commence at 6:30pm. We have five writers lined up to share their work, which ranges from alluringly sensual to intense, powerful expressions of desire and identity.
We want you to be comfortable at Soft Corners. Step outside for a breather, grab a water and some fruit, sit with friends, and/or take your time fully experiencing each piece in the show, from what's on the walls to what's being read aloud.
By the way, when you come to Soft Corners for Art after Dark, you'll see our new signage, designed by Kit Quintana, who did our logos from the start!
